Deep South Awards Application PDF
Recognize and validate individual and club achievement by applying for awards.  Get the current application form for NGC from your District Awards Chairman.  Deep South Awards can be found on the web (see above).  All applications and supporting evidence must be sent to FFGC Headquarters by December 1 for judging (unless otherwise stated in the awards description).  There are no crossover awards except for the Publicity Press Book Award and Garden Club of the Year.  See those awards for complete descriptions.

Prepare separate Books of Evidence for FFGC, Deep South and National Awards.  FFGC permits copies of pages used in other Books of Evidence, so make the greatest use of the pages that you prepare by making copies and applying for multiple awards.  Be sure to follow the guidelines for each submission.

Forms can be downloaded from National or this chairman can e-mail awards applications upon request.  This chairman will also send snail mail if you don't have access to the Internet.

Deep South Unified Project (2007-2009)
Dollar$ for $Scholar$

Dollar$s for $cholar$, Deep South’s project for this administration, aims to increase interest in and funding for scholarships. When you purchase a life membership in FFGC, Deep South, or NGC, you are helping with scholarship funds. Many other activities can raise money for scholarships.

See the BOI or the website  for more complete information about the Dollar$ for $cholar$ program. Plan to apply for DS Unified Project awards. Categories are available for youth clubs, member clubs, and states. Books of Evidence should be sent to this chairman before October 15, 2009.

Send evidence of your scholarship efforts (pictures, newspaper articles, letters) to this chairman who will compile a Book of Evidence for Florida.

Great programs, great projects, and great leaders need to be recognized and to be remembered in the history of every club.  By submitting a Book of Evidence for one of the FFGC Awards, a club will have a permanent record of its activity and at the same time be eligible for recognition on the state level, if its Book of Evidence is selected as a first-place winner.  District Awards Chairmen are ready to help all clubs by distributing the application forms and by making suggestions as to which awards might be appropriate for different projects.  Focus on being a winner!

See the BOI or the website for information about the Dollar$ for $cholar$ program. Plan to apply for DS Unified Project awards. Categories are available for youth clubs, member clubs, and states. Books of Evidence should be sent to this chairman before October 15, 2009.
