Tulips on Parade
|

|

|
MATERIALS:
Variety of small bottles, any number, any shape, may also be of any
color/s
(The assortment shown was purchased for $1 per bottle at Michael’s
Floral and Craft store (JoAnn’s Fabric and Craft store also carries
them)
Graceful, single stemmed flowers (Tulips are used in the example) with
foliage removed,
DIRECTIONS:
First photo – group or cluster bottles in an interesting manner on a
table, sideboard or buffet. (If using as table “centerpiece”, place
bottles on a decorative runner for added interest.)
Second photo – Place the tallest blooms first, in the rear most
bottles, then place the shorter ones. (If using in center of
table, tallest flowers will go in middle bottles.)
Third photo – Finish with varied heights/stem lengths, in bottles
remaining. It is not necessary to have a flower in every bottle;
try foliage only.
If using flowers, such as tulips, that arch, it is less of a
distraction to have them all going one direction unless there is a
candle or large space in the enter (as on a table top), then have the
flowers going away from each side of the center.
The tulips in this design opened fully the next day and looked just as
good in the arrangement in the center of the dining room table.
