Students are to bring mat or surface to work on  and a bag lunch each time.

Coffee, iced tea and desert will be provided.

Fort Myers-Lee County Garden Council: 2166 Virginia Ave. Fort Myers, FL 33901, off McGregor Blvd., adjacent to the Edison & Ford Winter Estates.  

An introduction to Ikebana - the history, the schools, the mechanics, the philosophy and etiquette.  Kathleen will demonstrate a few designs.

Students and will go home with one that they have made . Containers, flowers and mechanics will be provided
Participants should bring: paper and pencil to take notes, mat or surface to work on, towel, clippers and apron if desired.

Ikebana study is contemplative, neat and quiet - which is a bit unusual for many of us.
