Youth Programs

The Florida Federation offers many programs for our youth - The Citizens of Tomorrow - who we encourage to learn about  and conserve our air, water and other resources.  There is a statewide Youth project to teach our youth about rain barrels and a Deep South project called "Kids Count".   We sponsor programs for many age groups  from Critter Camp and Camp Wekiva to Junior Gardeners, Highs School Gardeners and SEEK.  We do have scholarship for grades 3 through 8.  We also have a Wekiva Leadership Training Couse and Open House in February.  Here is a map to Wekiwa Springs State Park where Camp Wekiva is located.

Camp application forms, health forms, and other forms can be found on our Forms Page.

There is something for everyone.   Don't forget the Smokey Bear Woodsy Owl Poster Contest for our little ones.

We urge you to Learn, Volunteer, Teach, Sponsor a camper or begin a program in your city.

There is a new and exciting web site on Recycle City for our youth.  Check this out!!!

Easy way to raise money for Camp Wekiva

Be  A  “Souper”  Garden Club Member

YOU can be a “SOUPER” garden club member by supporting the Wekiva Youth Camp with UPC CODES from Campbell soup and other products.   Through the Labels for Education program we can get a lot of free stuff for Camp such as art supplies, office and classroom accessories, computers, cameras, walkie-talkies, microscopes, physical education items, and books.

Save the UPC CODE from all Campbell Soups.  Other items are Swanson, V-8, Pepperidge Farms, and Franco American.  Some jars require the lid.  Please see the chart that follows.  Please note that some products are worth 5 points.  Watch for special programs in the grocery stores for bonus coupons!

Start saving UPC CODES now, enlist your friends, family, and neighbors.  This is an ongoing project.    Bring your labels to your garden club meetings and have the club mail them to FFGC Headquarters, 1400 S. Denning Drive, Winter Park 32789-5662, give to your District Director, or mail to Carolyn Schaag, Chairman, 22125 Drawbridge Drive, Leesburg 34748.

Garden Club Members are SOUPER, Wekiva Youth Camp is SOUPER, let’s join forces to make this a SOUPER project!
