    The 4th course in the series of Study to become a Flower Show Judge. Learn about judging horticulture, design and flower show procedure NGC Accredited Judges may take this as a refresher if they have not yet refreshed at a flower show school.

    • University of Florida/District V Summer Short Course

    Short course, entitled, "Protecting the Life that Sustains Us", will feature expert speakers from a round the State, a walking tour at a local botanical gardens, and a fun-filled banquet dinner. Bus transportation will be provided for attendees from out-of-town. Parking spaces on UF campus have been reserved for local attendees.

    NGC Tri-Refresher is available in all 3 schools

    Course 1 provides an introduction to environmental science,  including presentations about ecology, plant biodiversity, environmental issues, backyard wildlife habitats, networking and outreach, historic environmental actions and leaders, and sustainability. It also includes a two-hour nature discovery field trip.

     Specific Details regarding course schedule, instructors, and the field trip will be provided to those who register. Be prepared to dress for a 2-hour walk outside.

    Course 2 provides an in-depth look at land types their ecology and uses, including for agriculture or gardening, and the importance of coastal zones. Additional topics include energy resources, pollution and the web of life. There is a two-hour field trip.
